The 1st International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (ARISDE 2024) aims to be a premier forum for presenting survey and original academic and industrial research contributions in machine learning and deep learning, translation, classification and clustering, information extraction, speech recognition, expert systems, robotics and affective computing, intelligent human-agent interaction, vision, planning, scheduling and optimisation, favouring a sustainable societal development.
ARISDE 2024 is also proposed as a stimulating environment for industrial partners that want to present innovative products and services pursuing the 2030 UN objectives for sustainable development.
ARISDE 2024 is a joint event of the IEEE 59th International Scientific Conference on Information, Communication and Energy Systems and Technologies (ICEST 2024).
Submission Guidelines
- All submissions must be written in English following the CEUR-WS author guidelines and have to be submitted as PDF files to EasyChair, with maximum paper length of 15 pages.
- All submissions will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. All the accepted papers will be published in the proceedings book after being presented at the workshop.
- Registration and attendance to the workshop are mandatory for inclusion of the paper in the proceedings book.

The proceedings book of ARISDE 2024 will be submitted to be published by CEUR-WS (https://ceur-ws.org/), that is open access and indexed by SCOPUS and DBLP.

The workshop will be held in virtual form through the Microsoft Teams platform.
