LBSIM invites articles that facilitate a new understanding of the theme "Innovations and transformations impacting economy and business in the digital era" and its subtopics while simultaneously making significant contributions to the theoretical advancement of the discipline. Scholars may submit the extended abstract of their research; upon notification of acceptance of extended abstract, scholars will be required to submit the full papers. Shortlisted papers will go through the review and refinement process. Accepted papers will be published in Proceedings of the Conference and some selected papers will be published based on the novelty, methodological rigor, and relevance, in Scopus and ABDC listed journals including FIIB Business Review (ABDC C, Scopus) and LBS Journal of Management & Research (Emerald Publishing).
Guest editors for the special issue are Dr. C.P. Gupta, Professor, LBSIM, Dr. Manohar Bhat, Professor LBSIM and Dr. Gaurav Joshi, Associate Professor, LBSIM.
Aim of the Conference
In today's digital age, the economy and businesses are experiencing rapid transformations and innovations. The conference aims to bring together academicians, researchers, and industry experts to explore these changes and their impact on the economy and business. The conference is in line with LBSIM’s mission of nurturing and grooming socially sensitive business leaders with a global outlook, supported by research-led teaching and strategic national and international partnerships. The goal is to provide a platform for participants to present and discuss their research findings, network with peers, and gain valuable insights from experts in their fields.
The conference will feature area-specific sub-tracks, including Finance in Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Operations, Systems and IT, and HR & Organizational Behavior. These sub-tracks will enable participants to delve into specific areas of research and gain deeper insights into the latest trends and practices in their respective fields.
A diverse range of international participants from academia, industry, and government will present their research and insights. The conference will also feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops led by prominent experts and thought leaders in their respective fields.
Conference Sub-themes
The conference sub-tracks, include finance and accounting, marketing, economics, operations, systems and IT, HR and organizational behavior. Each sub-track will provide an opportunity for participants to delve into specific issues and challenges that businesses face in the digital age. The area-specific sub-tracks for this conference are tailored to suit the interests and expertise of our participants. These sub-tracks include:
Finance & Accounting: This sub-track focuses on the latest research in finance and accounting, exploring the impact of technological advancements on financial management, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
Marketing: This sub-track covers among other topics, the latest research in marketing, examining the impact of digital transformation on marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and marketing metrics.
Economics: This sub-track delves into the latest research in economics, analyzing the impact of digital transformation on economic growth, labor markets, and international trade.
Operations: This sub-track focuses on the latest research in operations management, examining the impact of digital transformation on supply chain management, logistics, and production processes.
Systems & IT: This sub-track covers the latest research in systems and IT, exploring the impact of digital transformation on information systems, enterprise architecture, and IT governance.
HR & Organizational Behavior: This sub-track delves into the latest research in human resources and organizational behavior, examining the impact of digital transformation on employee engagement, talent management, and organizational culture.
We invite unpublished theoretical and empirical manuscripts (initially only extended abstracts) under any of the tracks given above. These suggestive and non-exhaustive topics for each sub-theme do not restrict scholars contributing to the broad theme of "Innovations and transformations impacting economy and business in the digital era".

Guidelines for Submission of Research Paper
- One extended structured abstract* (Emerald style) of 500 words should be submitted separately.
- The title of extended abstract need not be exactly same as that of the paper.
- The paper should have a concise title.
- All the authors designation, affiliation, sequencing, orcid-id, email and contact number should be mentioned in the paper.
- The paper length could vary from 2500 to 8500 words. Please factor in 280 words for each figure and table.
- The paper should be submitted in MS Word format and the font should be Times New Roman, Font Size-12, Headings- Bold (Font size-14), Both sides justified.
- The referencing style should be APA style, 7th Edition (http://www.apastyle.org).
- All the in-text references should be mentioned at last in the bibliography.
- All the tables and diagrams should be appropriately numbered and provided at the end of the paper.
- The tables and figures should be referenced as per original source, if author is using his own figures or tables, it should be references as “Authors’ own”
- All the grammatical and spelling errors should be checked prior to the submission of the paper.
*: Note: Extended abstracts should include the following sections:
a) Purpose (maximum 100 words)
b) Design/Methodology/Approach (maximum 100 words)
c) Findings (maximum 100 words)
d) Practical Implications (maximum 100 words)
e) Originality (maximum 100 words)
