Bank Al-Maghrib, Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech (The Research Laboratory for Innovation, Responsibility and Sustainable Development - INREDD) and the Bernoulli Center for Economics (BCE) of the University of Basel, in collaboration with Dakhla Oued Eddahab Regional Council, are pleased to invite you to contribute to the 5th edition of the International Days of Macroeconomics and Finance. The event will take place from May 22 to 24, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Dakhla. The aim of this event is to promote a constructive exchange between researchers and decision-makers, and to formulate recommendations on critical economic policy issues.
Submission Guidelines
The deadline for submission of the full papers is March 24, 2024. Interested authors are requested to send their papers in electronic form to the following address: jimfmaroc@gmail.com. Authors of submitted papers will be informed of the decision of the scientific committee by April 5, 2024. Papers may be presented in French or English. Selected papers will be posted on the conference web portal.
Paper submissions should be in the fields of macroeconomics and finance. Both empirical and theoretical papers will be considered. Preference will be given in this edition to papers on the theme of “Economic integration in Africa: the path to a more prosperous future”, with clear policy recommendations. The choice of this theme aims to explore challenges and opportunities of economic integration in Africa. The aim is to stimulate debate on economic integration in Africa, and to formulate recommendations for further strengthening this integration, while promoting prosperity and sustainable, inclusive development on the continent.
