It is our great pleasure to welcome you all to the International Conference on Medical Computer Vision and Robotics (MCVR 2023), hosted by the Cixi Institute of BioMedical Engineering in Ningbo, China during December 8-10, 2023.The field of Medical Computer Vision and Robotics has made significant progress in recent years, with advancements in technology enabling more precise and efficient medical procedures. From computer-aided diagnosis to surgical robots, this interdisciplinary field has the potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Submission Guidelines

Paper Submission

The submission of papers for MCVR 2023 will be managed through EasyChair: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mcvr2023. This system gives you, the author, complete control over your submission.You can upload your paper and check on the review status of your submission.

Length and Formatting Requirements

Submitted papers must be written in the English language. Full paper (including figures, tables, and references) must be no less than 8 pages. Use the conference template for Microsoft Word: http://www.mcvr2023.org/files/template.docx

Double Blind Review

MCVR 2023 reviewing is double blind, in that authors do not know the names of the program chair/reviewers of their papers, and the area chairs/reviewers cannot, beyond a reasonable doubt, infer the names of the authors from the submission and the additional material. Avoid providing information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments (e.g., co-workers and grant IDs) and in the supplemental material (e.g., titles in the movies, or attached papers). Avoid providing links to websites that identify the authors. Violation of any of these guidelines may lead to rejection without review. If you need to cite a different paper of yours that is being submitted concurrently to MCVR 2023:1. cite these papers2. argue in the body of your paper why your MCVR paper is non-trivially different from these concurrent submissions, and3. include anonymized versions of those papers in the supplemental material

Submission Policies

1. Multiple Submissions and Prior Publication

MCVR 2023 requires that authors should only submit original work that has neither appeared elsewhere for publication, nor is under review for another refereed publication.

2. Policy on Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the use of someone else’s prior ideas, processes, results, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and is considered a serious breach of professional conduct, with potentially severe ethical and legal consequences.

3. Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Generated Text

The use of artificial intelligence (AI)–generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section. The sections of the paper that use AI-generated text shall have a citation to the AI system used to generate the text.

Publication

Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by reviewers, and accepted papers after proper registration and presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, etc.
