You are cordially invited to join us at the international workshop DETERMINED 2022: Neurodevelopmental Impairments in Preterm Children, which will be held on August 26th, 2022, at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The workshop is organised by the MSCA ITN PARENT - PremAtuRe nEwborn motor and cogNitive impairmenTs: Early diagnosis in conjunction with the third PARENT Training School which will be held from the 24th to 27th of August 2022. This will be a unique forum for graduates, post-docs, and other scientists in clinical healthcare to present and exchange new data and ideas for the advancement of early diagnosis of motor and cognitive impairments in premature children. DETERMINED 2022 International Workshop aims to highlight exciting keynote talks, poster exhibitions, workshops, and a networking event to discuss such advancements.
Research Topics
Authors are invited to contribute to the workshop by submitting articles that illustrate research projects, research findings, or reviews that explore technological innovations related to neurodevelopmental impairments in children in general, premature infants or related topics. This includes the following areas:
- Machine Learning for preterm neonatal care applications
- Big Data Analytics
- Medical Image Processing and Signal Processing
- Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSSs)
- Precision Medicine
- Biology and Bioinformatics
- Neuroscience and Computational Neuroscience
- IoT for Healthcare
- Computational Modelling in Biological Systems and Medicine
Paper Submission:
Authors are invited to first submit paper titles and abstracts (200 words) by July 15, 2022, and full papers by July 22, 2022, through EasyChair website.
The conference features regular papers in two categories (please note if you submit a paper as a student):
• Short papers: at least 5 pages.
• Regular research papers: at least 10 pages.
Papers should be formatted according to CEUR-ART style format and one of the topics and paper categories (Full research paper, Short paper) must be selected during the submission). Authors should consult CEUR authors’ guidelines and use LaTeX for their proceedings templates for the preparation of their papers. CEUR proceedings LaTeX templates are also available in Overleaf. Selected papers will appear in the conference proceedings which will be published as part of CEUR Workshop proceedings. In addition, the corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all the authors of that paper, must complete and sign an Author Agreement. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to CEUR, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

AUTHOR-AGREEMENT (TP): Authors should use this form if they did include copyrighted third-party material in their paper or accompanying material. You must then also attach a copy of the permission by the third party to use this material in the signed author agreement!
