ABOUT THE BOOK: This book focuses on design and implementation of smart healthcare system with major challenges to further explore more robust and efficient healthcare solutions in terms of low cost, faster algorithms, more sensitive IoT sensors, faster data communication, real-time solution for treatment. With use of wearable devices and their connectivity with smart phones, the users will be very much conscious regarding their health status. The AR/VR technology will provide pleasing interaction with the healthcare devices while technologies like IoT and blockchain will provide faster and secure communication. Such kind of systems is very much required for disabled and senior citizens living independently. This book is targeted to variety of readers like scholars and academic persons, industry peoples involved in manufacturing healthcare devices and providing infrastructural support connecting the devices and sensors over wide area networks, application developers and data analyst of healthcare devices like different scanners and wearable healthcare devices. The book also aims to network and EDP administrators managing healthcare data and users’ credentials and keeping the system free from intruders. The use of virtual and augmented reality will provide user friendly and interactive communication with healthcare systems. The major technologies involved are Healthcare 5.0, Convergence of IoT, Blockchain and AR/VR, Cloud computing, 3D Printing in Healthcare, Robotics in Healthcare, Wearable and transplantable healthcare Devices, and Case Studies from India and UK.
Submission Guidelines
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before 30th June, 2022, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by 15th July, 2022 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by 15th October, 2022 and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.crcpress.com/assets/images/crc/T%26F%20Text%20Preparation%20Instructions_Disk_Word_v1_1.pdf prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
