STEMHorizons2025: Horizons In STEM Higher Education Conference 2025 Aston University Birmingham, UK, June 25-26, 2025

The 2025 UK Horizons in STEM Higher Education Conference will be hosted by Aston University, Birmingham, on 25-26th June 2025. Talks and workshops will be presented in person.

Submission Guidelines

We are inviting abstract submissions for oral presentations, workshops, and posters that address the following conference themes:

• Active learning
• Assessment and feedback
• Digitally focused pedagogy (including use of AI in teaching and learning)
• Employability, work-based learning, and apprenticeships 
• Equality, diversity, and inclusion (including Curriculum Decolonisation)
• Laboratory, field, and practical work
• Pedagogic research
• Climate education and activism
• Student support (including Transitioning, Study Skills, and Academic Mentoring)
• Student partnerships

All abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words.
