The sample consisted of 36 students who were selected through non-probabilistic sampling by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The results partially coincide with studies from other university contexts, highlighting high levels in competencies such as information competencies such as information search, ability to use technological resources for research, and teamwork. technological resources for research and teamwork; at a medium level is the competence of research methodological process. methodological process of research and scientific communication; The study showed that there is a direct correlation between project-based learning and the development of research competencies.
