Teaching "on-Board Data Management" Concepts in the "Physics and Space Instrumentation" Degree. an Example of a Common Use Case and Vertical Coordination Among Subjects

Abstract

The subject "Onboard data management", as part of the degree of "Physics and Space Instrumentation", is made up of a set of subjects that allow students to acquire the technical knowledge necessary for the specification, design and validation of the hardware/software components of the data management system on board a satellite. This work presents the common use case used in the different subjects, the vertical coordination of the contents among them and the laboratory environments used.
