Finite element method (FEM) is a very powerful tool for transformer design and analysis; it takes into account the non-linear behavior of the core. Also the comparison of 2-D FEM and 3-D FEM is shown. The results of the proposed numerical method are compared with the experimental results (performed at Atlanta Electricals Pvt. Ltd.).Keyphrases: 2 d fem, 3 d fem, core loss, power ttransformer, winding loss In: Ajitkumar Shukla, J. M. Patel, P. D. Solanki, K. B. Judal, R. K. Shukla, R. A. Thakkar, N. P. Gajjar, N. J.
