With data collected from over 400 students at universities in Da Nang, The Multinomial Logit Model (MNL) is used to examine the influence of various factors on the choice of transportation mode for students in Da Nang. The developed transportation mode choice model includes socioeconomic characteristics of students and trip-specific characteristics such as travel time, distance, and transportation costs. The results indicate that travel time, school location, gender, year of student, and motorcycle ownership are the key factors affecting the choice of transportation mode for students.
