In particular, the two most popular approaches for heating the samples up to ablative temperatures (i.e., water bath and antenna applicator) and two dielectric measurement setups (i.e. open-ended coaxial probe and resonant cavity) are analysed and compared, highlighting the pros and cons of each approach.
