Optimal Control of Oscillatory Processes in a Resistive Medium

Abstract

This study addresses the optimal control problem with additional constraints for systems described by a one-dimensional oscillation equation. Theorems are presented regarding the positivity of the real eigenvalues of the spectral problem and the orthogonality of the eigenfunctions over a given interval.
