In this work, for consideration of the anisotropic behavior of sheet metal, the Hill48 quadratic yield criterion is adopted instead of the von Mises yield function. The proposed fracture criterion is formulated by transforming principal stress components into stress triaxiality and Lode parameter space. In addition, the influence of shear damage evolution due to the assumption that the voids are sheared and rotated during deformed configuration is also taken into account. The novel damage model is calibrated via the uniaxial tension tests, the R-notched and shear specimens are specifically designed and simultaneously conducted by both experiments and numerical simulations to validate its predictability of ductile fracture over various stress states.
