Abstract

Tribology is a an emerging socioeconomic, scientific, and academic domain for optimization of energy loss at rubbing contacts during 21^st century. Adhesion, friction, lubrication, wear, and mass transfer due to biodegradation are fundamentally involved for designing of functional interfaces. Covid#19 pandemic is a global alarm for synchronization of carbon footprints evolved from transport sector in modulating a novel materials and energy interface.
