To address these challenges, this paper explores the integration of cache-based Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) broadcasting with other communication technologies, such as cellular networks and roadside infrastructure, to devise hybrid communication solutions. The proposed hybrid approach leverages the strengths of each communication technology to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of information dissemination in metropolitan environments. Cache-based V2V broadcasting enables vehicles to store and forward data, mitigating the effects of intermittent connectivity and reducing reliance on centralized infrastructure. Furthermore, the integration with cellular networks offers broader coverage and reliable connectivity, particularly in areas with sparse vehicular density.
