Abstract

This paper investigates the opportunities and barriers associated with promoting English proficiency within multilingual educational frameworks. As English becomes increasingly vital for global communication and academic success, educational systems in multilingual contexts face both unique advantages and significant challenges. Through a review of existing literature, analysis of case studies, and interviews with educators and students, this study highlights the strategies that leverage opportunities for enhancing English proficiency while addressing the barriers that hinder effective implementation. The paper aims to provide actionable recommendations for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders to optimize English language education in multilingual environments.
