Postmodern poetry, characterized by its departure from traditional forms and its engagement with diverse cultural influences, serves as a lens through which students navigate and interpret the complexities of their surroundings. Through a qualitative analysis of poetry produced by students, supplemented by interviews and observations, this research explores how cultural context shapes their poetic expressions. It investigates the ways in which historical, social, and cultural elements intertwine to inform poetic themes, styles, and language choices. Additionally, the study examines how these young poets negotiate their identities within a rapidly changing cultural landscape, grappling with issues of tradition, globalization, and personal experience. By shedding light on the dynamic interplay between cultural context and poetic creation, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of postmodern poetry and its significance in contemporary society.
