Abstract

Cloud computing as a concept has been around for quite some time but after launch of digital India program, a lot of buzz about “cloud computing” and its revolutionary promise to transform how work is done towards productivity enhancement, product quality, innovation ability and cost-effectiveness and flexibility. Cloud computing is quickly becoming the standard way for technology companies to access IT infrastructure, software and hardware resources. This technology, enables companies to use applications and other resources managed by third party companies which offers centralized data storage and online access to scalable and elastic IT-enabled services or resource through configurable computing resources, high capacity remote servers and network.

This paper make an attempt to present a comprehensive view on Cloud computing framework, review of its benefits, relevance in Aerospace and defense sector, Implementation areas, risks and viable mitigations considering complex security requirements of the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) Sector.
