This study investigates how these factors have influenced the river's water quality, focusing on parameters such as pH, turbidity, heavy metals, and biological contaminants. By analyzing historical data and conducting comprehensive fieldwork, the research reveals significant water quality deterioration correlated with increased industrial activities and urban expansion. Elevated levels of pollutants, including heavy metals and organic contaminants, were found particularly in areas downstream of industrial zones. This study highlights the urgent need for improved regulatory frameworks, enhanced wastewater treatment infrastructure, and sustainable urban planning to mitigate pollution and safeguard water resources. Recommendations emphasize stricter pollution control, community involvement, and ongoing research to address the complex challenges posed by urban and industrial development.
